Project
Parramatta Light Rail Stops
Overview
The scope included the monitoring and control of mechanical ventilation systems and CRAC units, with full BMS interface for operational oversight. Critical system alarms were integrated, including phase failure relays, surge arrestor alarms, and cabinet door status monitoring, enhancing asset protection and fault response capability.
Electrical works incorporated monitoring of energy meters at each stop, along with high-level interface (HLI) connections to the lighting control system and UPS infrastructure. All systems were integrated into the PME and EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) platforms, supported by onsite servers and structured networking works.
GSTEC provided full project delivery services, including design coordination, interface wiring, network integration, system documentation, onsite testing, commissioning, and handover. All required data points were configured and reported to the SCADA system in accordance with project requirements, ensuring consistent visibility across the network.
Outcome
The project was delivered with a strong focus on coordination across multiple disciplines, compliance with transport infrastructure standards, and reliable operation within a live public transport environment.
