GSTEC delivered critical power control and monitoring systems as part of a major new metro station infrastructure project. The scope focused on ensuring resilient and reliable operation of emergency power systems within the station’s North and South Towers.

Overview

The project included PLC programming for new Schneider M340 controllers to manage diesel generator operation, load shedding, and diesel fuel transfer systems in accordance with the project Functional Design Briefs and associated design documentation.

The PLC solution continuously monitors low voltage switchboards via phase failure relays (PFR) and automatic transfer switch (ATS) feedback, generating alarms to the Building Monitoring and Control System (BMCS) in the event of supply abnormalities.

Outcome

The scope was completed with comprehensive onsite commissioning, including staged testing during normal operating hours and final out-of-hours commissioning to align with construction and operational requirements. In addition, GSTEC designed and built the main PLC and fuel control panels, delivering a fully integrated, tested, and compliant control solution for this critical transport infrastructure asset.
